Question Player Advise

I have a complete Blue Ray set up (player, tv etc) and it is about 18 months old. Recently I've noticed it won't play new Blue Ray DVDs. I was told I need a new player or some type of adapter.

Is this correct and if so what are your recommendations. We are not technical people nor do I care if we own the "latest and greatest."

Thanks for your help.

You may need a firmware update from the manufacturer of the BD player. If the player is 18 months old and it has not been updated, then you will problems playing some movies with the old firmware.

I didn't know they sold blue ray players and discs.

Just playing as someone already mentioned you may need a new firmware update. You should be able to go to your player's manufacture website and find the info on new firmware.

There is no need to purchase a new Blu-ray player and save your money. Check the firmware update, download it to a cd and play it in your blu-ray player. It may take awhile, but leave it alone then you should be golden!
