Great job on you son's room. My son cracked his LCD screen yesterday. Hit it by "accident" with a racket. Good luck.

Well I figured if he did break it I would cycle down all the TV's and pick up a 54" panny G10 or V10 for the living room.

He came to me and showed me the damage...the tv looks perfect, but when you turn it own you see where it was LCD was craked inside. One month punishment without tv, then I will buy him another cheap 32 inch Dynex.

He gets all the hand me downs, then when a new TV is purchased they go to the TV graveyard ( parents house ). Last year my mom was bugging me to buy a new TV so that's why they have his old Vizio.

Good thing there's cheap TV's. When my son was a little over a year old he used his plastic hammer to fix my Sammy DLP. He hit it right at eye level. Put a nice dent/scratch on it.

Lol would've been sweet to have a room like that when I was that young. Nice job, nice and clean. Hopefully it's high enough to stay out of harms way

yeah I was wondering the same thing about the green stuff. Maybe fungus? Anyways, TV should be lowered by a few inches to cover the power plug behind the tv.

That's extremely green to be a fungus. I'm pretty sure it's just paint, maybe from a previous color scheme idea. I would hope someone wouldn't let a fungus spot get that big in their childs room lol

That stinks Blu Titan. I assume he was honest and admitted that he did it and how.....perhaps he could get some time off for good behavior for telling the truth? My kids are not allowed to have TV's in their rooms...by order of the high priestess......but I told her when they get older and want one, it is her job to answer all questions, as she is on her own......I will simply tell them that it is "mommy's rule."

Well.... looking again (in my much more sober state) the other "things" on the ceiling look like buckets half-buried in sand...... at first look, I thought they were blades of a ceiling fan..... but there's no way that's what they are.

Does you kid have some cool beach-themed room or something :Yikes:

Either way.... MORE PICTURES...... you have sparked my curiosity

His room really wasn't meant to have all that stuff. The wife bugged me that he was bringing all his toys to the living room because he could watch his shows there. Next thing you know he had a little 20" viewsonic LCD and a DVD player. Then I was lucky to have a good amount of overtime the last couple of years and started to upgrade the TV's one at a time and next thing you know he had an HD cable box and a 32" Vizio. Of course agian my wife didn't want him stuck in the living room because we only had one PS3 at that time so he couldn't watch his Disney blurays. So there you have it one more TV upgrade and a PS3. It's funny that his is the only TV in the house that's mounted on the wall. OH well he's the hand me down kid when it comes to electronic and the last stop until they get sent to the parents house.

It's nice that he has his "Own Stuff" My wife certainly wouldn't let our kids ever have T.V.s in their rooms though..... but we also have the luxury of a "play room" so we'll have a t.v. and dvd player connected up there for them.

Do you have pictures of the "Tree" when it was still up?

I'm planning on using either Sleeping Beauty or Pinnochio to project an image onto our nursery wall, then trace it out with pencil, then paint it....... It's going to be a girl's room, and we're going to paint the base a very very very faint yellow color (nothing too bold)

Did you just "free-hand" the tree etc?

Also your kid's Mickey Mouse shirt is awesome.

I'm not a big fan of electronics in a kid's room, or any bedroom for that matter. Just my personal opinion, though.
