Default Dumb question, How do I make Gun noises louder in Movies?

I can hear the Sub louder on other things, but I want them to go off so I can feel every bullet shot. how do I achieve this, This is on a 1000W home theater in a box system 5.1 sound. I have a big Speaker hooked up to the Center piece. I just want to feel when guns are going off, but it sounds to soft, Do i need a bigger speaker for other place? because the sub and Center piece are not producing loud gun noise.

Thanks in advance, and excuse my noobness in all of this.
