Well I'm sure most people here who have a PS3 do, since most of us probably (or at least should) use HDMI which doesn't come with the PS3.
You sould go to radio shack (they have tons of that stuff cheap), or try where you bought your PS3, or get an HDMI cable.

Maybe to sell it on e-bay to some sucker who doesn't realize that they're just buying a box, cables, and manual, lol.

I can see the description now, "PS3 box with cables and manual, buy now for only $299".

I keep the original manuals, cables, etc. just in case I ever sell the PS3 as it gives the buyer more confidence when they see that the original box, manuals, cables, etc are still there. I go a little beyond this and will actually keep the original packing material as well

LOL, no

but you would probably get reported to the eBay fraud dept if you miss-represented it as the PS3.

I just got a PS3 from a friend, but he had nothing but the power cord, aparently the original box/cables got toss'd out by his mom.

I'd like to have all the proof of purchase/manuals etc.,

I think I can find the AV cables on my own, but would like to pick up the original ones.

Thanks in advance.

I've learned through several hard experiences that you're better off keeping everything for a while, including box and manuals.

Hey, that's what an unfurnished part of a basement is for.

I have everything. The stock USB cable, AV Cables haven't been touched. The documentation and coupons are still in the box unmolested as well.

So, I'm a dumb@$$.

I just found out that if you buy a PS3, you get 5 free movies via mail, but I toss'd my box.

I have my best buy reciept, which is dated July 2nd. as I wanted to play Rainbow Six: Vegas over the holiday break.

Now, I read here that you all are much smarter then me and have kept your original box.

Argh.. I'd love those 5 free movies.

Anyone out there willing to part with their UPC from their old box for $10?
Just need 1. I'd be much apreciated.

Yea, because if your PS3 craps out (like mine did) and it's under warranty (like mine was) you have to send all that stuff back (well, not the box) to get a replacement.
