Default make.believe

Sony's new worldwide slogan.

Absolute shocker IMO. like.no.other was so much better...

Not the PS3 branding, that's great.

make.believe is the new company-wide slogan. I just think it's terrible and could be a lot better.

I'm still waiting for Sony to make a huge comeback with their other products like walkmans and other things.

Their digital camera lines are going to make a huge splash when the new full frame DSLR comes out.

Any news on a new walkman?

I don’t like it either.. It's sounds.. childish. make.believe.. You think of 'Made up'? 'Fake'? 'Fairy tale'? Ya know what I mean? There's nothing make.believe about what Sony offer in their products!

Yeah, saw a prototype yesterday, bigger version of the X-series, multi-touch, better browser and PSN music/video store integration. The last two weren't present on the unit I had a go on though...

Indeed. 4.3", same size as the PSP-3000 screen I'm told. 640x360 resolution to boot... Being branded as nHD.

Edit: also had a go on the new Vaio X. It's amazing, light as a feather, 26hrs battery is what I was quoted, but frankly that sounds rather optimistic...

Playstation music/video store access through the walkman? Interesting. So one would imagine that you can soon buy music from the Store? ??

Not a huge fan, but I think it works.

"Live in your world, play in ours" was one of my favorites (for playstation that is )

Uh...

Make Believe what?

Make Believe that they didn't just lose a boatload of money in the last few years?

I didn't know they were all New York businessmen. *LOL*

Qualcomm Snapdragon is what I was told when I asked. Again, this unit was running on the old X-1000 chipset which does not use the Snapdragon processor.

I wonder, are they going 'solid state' with regards to the hard drive?

They should. Solid state it the best way to go IMO. Less power consumption and less chance of a failure.

My wifes first gen ipod does that weird clicking thing. So does one of my external hard drives.

Whatever happened to "It's a Sony!"? Now there was a slogan.
