Default installing screen hard?

I bought a motorized 150" screen, which will cover the whole wall of my APT (in front of windows), it might not be able to install against the wall but on the ceiling. Will it be difficult to install? Will I need a second person? or hire someone to do it?

depends on what type of screen, and how the installation is.... if it has brackets that you pre-measure for, install in the ceiling studs, and then attach the screen to the brackets, then it should be easy.... Is it recessed in the ceiling, or hangs off of the ceiling?

It never hurts to have a handy friend help you though..... it's probably going to weigh a decent amount too.... What did the product description say for the items' shipping weight?

I would not recommend installing a motorized screen by yourself. It's a two person job. Attach to the ceiling studs, as Beta mentioned.

it must be 50-70 lbs, will have to hire a nearby handy man to help put it up

I would cover the top with Black Velvet tape..... I never understood why a projector casing would be white.....

Yeah... get someone to help you... That way you know it's done right, and without damaging anything.

I think you should not do it alone... If possible take somebody's help... It will be really easy and fast... Doing it single handed may not give better results....

This is sort of on topic, but I am installing a simple pull down screen into my ceiling studs. I think the weight of it is around 20lbs or so, and I plan on screwing in hooks to support the screen. Do you think I can do this alone? I believe I can, as long as I measure properly....what do you guys think?

I'll be attempting the same thing this week, have a 92" elite manual screen coming. I plan on using hooks in the joists of the ceiling so that I can take the screen down if need be. The weight is about 22lbs so it shouldn't be an issue to lift by yourself.
