How do you install firmware updates on a Sony BDPS 300 BluRay player?

While I'm not familiar with stand alones, I suppose you could just download the firmware from Sony to a CD or DVD and put it in you player to update it. If that model has an ethernet port, you can also go online with it to download the update directly.

scroll down to "Download Instructions".

you need to burn an .iso imag to a cd-r (only)

if you get stuck just ask...
