Deactivation Question. - Blu-ray Forum

I had some dlc from a friend and then deactivated that account on my PS3. My question is does doing that reset the amount of times i've gotten content from them? I did remove the add ons too. If not then i'll wait to re download from them. I don't want to use up the 5x limit. Thanks in advance.

IIRC the limit is 5 "current" activations for most software. By deactivating, you should have freed up that "slot" and theoretically the DLC should not work anymore but I believe that depends on how the devs coded it.

Thanks, i just wanted to figure this out before i put stuff on the PS3 that i'm using now until i get a new hdd for my PS3.
