Default Night of the Living Dead being remade....again! As a CGI 3D movie!

Actually, it's an orgin story. But this is the kind of stuff that happens when a movie is public domain. But I think it'll be interesting to say the least. Let's just hope it wasn't like the godawful 3-D remake that starred Sid Haig.

I wish they would just stop with all the damn remakes period! Is it so hard to be original these days?

Well, I'll check it out. The remake with Tony Todd was pretty darn good. The 3D remake from a few years ago... not so much. But it's a classic story that happens to be in the public domain, so these things happen.

And besides, this project is quite different. Not sure why they're even calling it a remake if it's an origin story, unless it's part prequel/part remake like Halloween was. Either way, I'll reserve judgment for now.

Anyway this sounds like a straight to video release. Or at least limited theatrical. I don't about the whole "orgin" thing. Don't filmakers know it's sometimes better not to know why something is happening in a horror movie? And they already covered some orgins in the godawful NOTLD: 30th Anniversary Edition.
