Default Rain

I am so sick and tired of rain. I'm sure you've heard on the news about the flooding in Oklahoma and Texas. It's far worse than what you've seen. For the last 50 days, we have had a downpour. It is getting out of hand! I haven't been able to play golf, or anything because of it. Right now it's pouring down and lightning like crazy. It is getting awful. We have gotten at least 70 inches in the last 3 weeks. Hell, even the dams have been overlflowing. Constant power outages, surges has made me scared to play the PS3. But, I have watched every Blu-ray I own at least twice. I need more to sustain me until this quits. If you live in Oklahoma or Texas then you know what i'm talking about. And as of this post, we are under a tornado watch. Which is nothing scary because we are under about 1 a week. We're also under a flash flood warning....suprise suprise

Yesterday lighting hit a 50 million chemcial storage tank not to far from house. It also screwed up the electric in our area and it was raining black chemical smoke yesterday.

^^ You've taken the rest of the country's rain.

You could come out to the midwest and enjoy a nice drought in contrast.

Maybe I should stop b*tching about the "scorching" 95-100 degree weather we've been getting in the northwest.

Here in the North East it has been 95-100 everyday. Even during the damn storm yesterday. The fog was out of control.

It's always that hot in the summer around here. Actually, it's hotter most of the time.

I know, that's why I put scorching in quotes. We are pansies in the NW. We b*tch when it is too hot, we b*tch when it rains. But in reality, it gets hotter in a lot of other places, and it rains harder in other places which causes worse effects like flooding. We are lucky to have such mild climate.

That's a pretty lame excuse.

Right now I have FEAR and CS:Source out of that batch. I'm way behind on the Battlefied games. I just lost interest in those for some reason. Maybe another try sometime for one of those...

We'll run into each other sooner or later.

On topic: I have this bad feeling it's going to take the outright change of season to autumn to snap us out of this drought.
