Default Best Christmas Blu-ray

Hey all!

This is a simple question of what is the top Christmas movies available on blu-ray.

The reason I ask is I want to buy a few for this upcoming holiday. It will be my wife's first Christmas ever and I want it to be memorable. I want her to feel the Christmas feeling and since she loves movies as much as me I want to make sure to get the right ones.

Any ideas?

I'm sure there are better films available, but Elf is one of my personal favorites. A warm and fuzzy for me!

Every year, for the last fifteen years or so, my family gets together during the Holidays for an annual watching of Christmas Vacation. Nothing gets me in the Christmas spirit like sitting down every year to watch that with the family.

However...

The Blu is pretty awful (though its still a tiny step above the DVD), and the crude content may not be what you're looking for.

A Christmas Story really brings back memories of what it was like as a kid - hinting for what you want, then having to wait and see if you get it. A classic! Don't forget about a Charlie Brown Christmas when it comes on, too.

Are any of these really good BLU-RAYS? I am familiar with all of these movies but I guess I am looking more from a technical aspect as well.

Any with good PQ?

Dude, you nailed my Christmas movie trifecta with that post. I would add Christmas Story to that (as another member did a few posts ago), and that's pretty much all the Christmas movies I need.

Get Bad Santa.
It will definitely be a very memorable Christmas movie that you will discussing for years to come.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned the heart warming and loving tale of Bad Santa.

In reality, though it is one of my personal favs, you better be prepared for mucho potty mouth.

Another good looking disc, though not my "all-time" fav, is The Polar Express. A real "wow" experience with the right set up.

It does have a wow factor...but they eyes of the characters are really creepy. I don't like how they did it.
