are my receiver and speakers set up properly?

ok, i have a 5.1 setup, i am getting sound from all of them

only thing is on the display of my pioneer receiver, the following are lit up:

L, C, R, SL, SR, SBL, SBR, LFE (and SB is not)

this is just confusing me because i have a subwoofer connected and run through the mcacc (and it works during movies), but the display isnt lit up

meanwhile i dont have sbl and sbr speakers (because i only have a 5.1 setup) and those ARE lit up

any help? or is this supposed to be like this?
