For those astronomy buffs who want to see the universe in the best picture quality, here's the first and only astronomy documentary on blu-ray so far:

Roving Mars (2006)

Release date: July 31, 2007

At $24 for 40 minutes, it's not really a great deal but at least the genre has started. There's also Blue Planet (IMAX) on blu-ray, to be released July 31, but I don't consider it astronomy.
