New to blu-ray---forget avs. - Blu-ray Forum

Hey everyone, I finally decided to become a member of bluray.com after months of looking on from behine the scenes. I must say the people on bluray.com IS much nicer and more helpful from what I have seen from previous post.

I finally bought the s300 today form CC got with 2 free movies of my choice alson got the coupon for the 5 free also, right now its still sitting in the box untouched. I am hoping you fellas can help me with the set up.

TV type 40xbr2, I figur with hdmi connection. No Av reciever as yet so the sound i coming from the tv.
What's that best setting within the s300 to use.

Welcome. AVS is like hell and blu-ray.com is heaven. Good call on the TV and S300.

Do you have an HDMi wire?
What settings do you need to know about?

plug the HDMI and power cord....it's quick and easy...

you won't need our help....just make sure you set it to 1080p if that's the display you have...
