13 Scarier Movie Moments on Bravo tonight 10/16 - Blu-ray Forum

If you've seen their previous shows "100 Scariest Movie Moments" followed by "30 Even Scarier Movie Moments", tonight will be a new one, "13 Scarier Movie Moments" on Bravo at 8pm (central time).

There show are usually a celebrity panel commenting on movies and specific clips from those movies that Bravo puts together in a list.

Because of these shows, I've watched movies I either never thought about watching or have never heard of until seeing it in the list. (Like "Suspiria" years ago.)

Here's the list:

13. The Strangers - when we see the guy appear behind Liv, the end "Because you were home..."
12. Cloverfield - the scene in the dark subway with the little clovers
11. Hard Candy - the castration scene
10. No Country For Old Men - the coin toss scene
9. Hostel: Part 2 - the girl hanging upside down bloodbath scene
8. Diary of the Dead - the scene in the hospital when the zombie comes out from behind the curtain and gets shot
7. Frailty - the end scene when the God's Hand killer is revealed
6. Ginger Snaps - the scene when Ginger gets attacked by a werewolf and Ginger's transformation throughout the movie, the scene when trying to give Ginger the antidote
5. Maniac - the "head being shot off with a shotgun" scene
4. Zodiac - the scene in the park with the two lovers being watched
3. Bug - the scene when Peter rips out his teeth
2. Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer - the scene when Henry and Otis are watching their tape
1. The Decent - the scene when the women first see the creatures

I like most of them. Cloverfield never scared me at all though. The Strangers and the Descent really hit home...I remember those parts well. I have also never seen Bug or Henry.....maybe something to see.

'The Strangers' didn't do anything for me or my wife when we saw it in the cinema. Decent film though.

Meh list, I know there was a creepy moment in Zodiac that might be it or there was another one. I know the scene with RDJ investigating kind of had me off my chair.

I think horror movies like that get me because it's more believable that it could happen you know?

o yea I totally get that lol they were not smart at all but it wouldnt have been 90 mins if they had been smart

haha a lot of horror movie would be 10-30 mins long if the victims were smart.

haha yea I get what ur saying. I hate running into that movie you wish you had never seen

lol I heard this awhile back ago but I think they are making a sequel, Idk how [I guess they go after diff people???/] I hate when they make sequels like that. it feels like they need to leave them & find a new project Ex. the Saw series... the first one was great but the rest of them just feel boring and trying to get nastier than the last. IMO

That's a pretty lackluster list. Only two listings from movies made before 2000? That's just stupid.

Keep in mind they already did a list with 100.....then with 30. This is the third list they did, so my assumption is that these 13 are all new, which would explain how recent a lot of the films are.

They have Bug on that list? That instantly disqualifies the list of having ANY credibility. I can honestly say Bug was THE worst movie I have ever seen.

If you people are going crazy over Strangers, go see the better picture, Them (2006) I believe. It's foriegn but don't let that get you down.

Saw 'Them' when it was released on video....creepy but a tad dull. The ending was weak
