Default Most Ridiculous Movie Moments of 2008

Yahoo has posted a great feature about the most ridiculous movie moments of 2008, including examples such as Indiana Jones surviving a nuclear blast by hiding in a fridge, the
[Show spoiler]Charlize Theron/Will Smith
fight in Hancock, and listing the entire "Happening" movie as one moment all in itself.

Check it out: http://movies.yahoo.com/photos/colle...idge/fp#photo0

Any more you can think of? Shout em out.

i was able to forgive the Indy 4 fridge scene b/c of the unrealistic scenes that appeared in the 1st 3 movies.

i do have to agree w/the Mummy Yetti field goal scene. that make my stomach turn. i wonder what goes through an actor's/directors/writers mind when a scene like that is shot. do they think it'll be funny or are they secretly keeping quite on the stupidity???

For me, Shia swinging on the vines with the monkeys was way more ridiculous than the nuclear blast/fridge scene.

I hate when people who make lists do stuff like this. It's a cheat. Yeah, we get it. The Happening was one big disappointment. But it's not a movie moment. And listing it as one isn't funny.

BTW, I'm not trying to defend The Happening. I'm just whining about a pet peeve. I'll move along now....

The movie was OK, but the Yeti field goal was ridiculous.

I don't understand. Spielberg is a smart man, how could he think for a second that putting Indy in a fridge in the middle of a nuclear blast would be enough to let him come out unscathed ? Or did this stroke of stupidity come from George Lucas ?

Depends what kind of Fridge it is? Think of the time period they were shooting in. The 1950's. They had big iron fridges not the plastic ones today.
