"Contact" Blu-Ray with DD 640kbps instead of TrueHD?!? - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone else received a "bad" copy of Contact on blu-ray? My cover (and the blu-ray.com review) says it is supposed to be TrueHD, but I have the lossy 640kbps Dolby Digital audio instead...

Anyone else see this? Check your discs please... Thanks.

Nevermind people, I had my PS3 set to bitstream (for a minute) and forgot. TrueHD track is just coolio!

what's your player and receiver? are you decoding onboard or bitstreaming to the receiver?

Nevermind, false alarm. I'm a dope. I had changed the hdmi output on the ps3 to bitstream, so that is what I was getting.

Now to watch the movie again! =)

the box back does state Dolby TrueHD 5.1 English, I'll buy it anyway because I love this movie. the review on this site lists the same codec.

WHEW! I was seriously worried there! It's one of my all time faves and I'm so glad that there isn't any glitches! I'll be picking this one up for sure!
