Nice pics PurpleJesus (aka Adrian Peterson). That room has more collectibles than I could imagine on my own. The pj and screen look great. I have to admit I have had to only tweak my pj a small amount out of the box as well. You have to love an image that big, right?! I had to pass over your screen shots though, as I have not seen TOTF yet! (I have the IMAX version, but I'm waiting for the right time to watch it). Your gear is awesome too!

I got the plv-1080 about 2 months ago and couldn't agree with you more. It is amazing. I put mine in my family room until my basement theater is done. Great set up

I like the new projector, but i gotta say buddy its just a little to busy. Im sure its still a work in progress for you, but for me the way your collectibles are currently arranged i think they detract from the room. Just some constructive criticism for ya.

Sorry, but I can't get past the clutter of the collectibles. You have great gear, just having trouble focusing on it.

Sorry,i should warn people its a little cluttered, its just kind of my ''man room'',where the wife lets me keep my stuff.I wish i had another room for the other collectables, but i don't.But i appreciate the honest criticism as well.

That's great...... I guess the screen being "up high" doesn't bother you?

It would drive me nuts to have all of those collectibles in there..... but I do admire the fact that you have a pretty solid collection going on there!

Do you have two sources, so you can watch a game on the Big-screen, and another on the "Little 50" " on Sundays?

Great setup..... it's great having your own place..... Better ask for a mini-fridge or kegerator for X-mas

While i've always been interested in home theater,i've been collecting figures and what not for about 10 years,i've actually got rid of a lot of stuff.I got the horror figures out for Halloween, but they kinda go with the movie room theme. It seemed like the best place to mount the screen on the ceiling,it allowed the screen to be pulled down all the way.So far the looking up doesnt bother me,but i'll need to get some more opinions from family and friends,we thought about either moving the couches back some,or actually building a riser for them.I completely unhooked the rptv,i have the cable box hooked up to my receiver so all the games will be on the big screen.I just left it there, since i really don't have anywhere else to put it.If i thought anybody would be interested in it,i might try to sell it,it really doesnt have a lot of hours on it,it was used sparingly.I think i have a mini-fridge in the garage,i need to go grab it. And with the lights out the toys are much less noticeable.

But thats why i go by the credo,''to each his own''.

Your New Room and Set-Up is a Giant Leap From Earlier in the Year.
I think the Progress you have made and are making is worth Serious Props .

You have A Lot of Collectibles But Just Like You Built An Awesome System,I Have Faith You Will Have The Collectibles Displayed In An Eye-Popping Way With Just a Little Time.

But I Have to Give You Credit For The Projector. And did the screen come from the HTDepot?
If so,how do you like it?And how was the Customer Service And Total Experience Dealing with the HTDepot?

Thanks alot! Actually i got the screen from ebay, and i've been pretty impressed with it so far.Sorry i don't know more about HT Depot,i forgot about them when i was looking for a screen.Although i'm pretty sure thats who i bought it from on ebay,it looks like the same dealer. They shipped the screen pretty fast and it arrived in good shape.

Nice setup! By the way, who has more collectibles? You or the 40-Year-Old-Virgin?
