Hi newbie here, so be gentle ha!
I'm slowly looking to upgrade into the world of HD, but I have a few issues. As a UK resident, I've been used to and happy with the playback quality of PAL DVDs. However.... going into stores and checking out the HD TVs I can't help but notice that while the quality of the picture on Blu-ray is fantastic, the actual "motion" of it appears very choppy and juddery... almost like running a video on a computer that can't quite process it fast enough. It doesn't look smooth at all? Now, is this a case of all these TVs in the store using the same source Blu-ray, or is it something to do with the TVs themselves? It's really offputting to me, though if there's an explanation on how to get around that then I'd feel at ease moving forward! |
