Siberian Tiger Mauls Man Who Broke Into Calgary Zoo - Blu-ray Forum

When they made it between the safety fence and the actual cage fence, they startled the cage's resident, a 2-year-old Siberian Tiger named Vitali, normally a docile beast. Vitali did what instinct told him to do, and grabbed one of the men.

"My guess would be that the gentleman was hooked by a claw and the arm dragged in and then continued to be attacked from that point," said Dr. Sandie Black, the zoo's head veterinarian. The man who was struck had no life-threatening injuries.

I never blame the animals on this, shark, tigers, bulls.....they are what they are, if you are stupid enough to annoy them you pay the price plain in simple.

I know sharks are another matter but once again, the sea is their place, they are the top dogs in there and you can't blame them if they attack.

I can understand that... but hey, as long as you stay on land you shouldn't have to worry about it so much. I don't go into the deep waters like I used to anymore because of sharks coming in closer.

. I know the rule is at most Zoos if an animal gets a taste of human blood they will put it down

Great. Now the tiger knows that people are filled with delicious meat.

It seems silly that we spend thousands of years of evolution trying to figure out better ways to stay out of a tiger's mouth, and this Einstein throws it all in reverse in one drunken stupor.
