Default Iron Man Amazon case problems

So today, I got Iron Man for Amazon and I was so happy, but I realized it wasn't the slipcover version and I thought it was the slipcover version, but that's not the worst of it. The case has 1 or 2 cracks on it and a piece chipped off and the plastic at the edge of the case is scratched . Should I contact Amazon about this?

I think slipcovers are usually only available with the first printing...unless the title never sold through its first print.

Well, as Gannet said, the slipcover part of it can't be helped (unless the item description specifically said it was included, I guess).

As for the case being damaged, you should be able to return the item to amazon and get it replaced. I had the same problem when they sent me my blu-ray Godfather set, and they replaced it without a hassle.

So, unless their return policy has changed since then, you should be able to ask for an exchange on the grounds that it was damaged during shipping.

I recently bought the X-Men trilogy from Wal-Mart (only because its price was comparable to on-line prices) and after I had put the cases on my shelf I realized that the top corner of the spine on the cases of X2 and X3 were broke. I'm chalking this up to the apparent fact that these Blu-ray cases are easily broke in this location. Because to have two of these cases broke in one three case box set, I gotta believe that it's a case of the nature of the beast.

Definitely...you don't even have to call them..there's a way to report a damaged disk etc. by going into your order form. They'll ship you out a brand new one tomorrow...as far as the slipcover..it was only a first print thing. You may be out of luck...someone called Amazon to get one and personally asked the person to make sure there was a slipcover and he still never got one.
