need some help figuring out an old receiver??

hey all, i am buying a lot of speakers, powered sub, entertainment center and an older onkyo receiver from a guy locally to me.

he says he paid like $7K for this receiver and it was one of the first onkyo 7.1 receivers on the market. he says it is super heavy, like 70 - 80lbs. anyone have any idea which model this would be? tried going on onkyo's site to figure it out, but its hard to find without the model number. anyone remember the first 7.1 onkyo receivers that were big $$ a few years or so back?? any help would be great, thanks
