Default Memorex Blu-ray Player (MVBD2520) problems

Is anyone else having problems with this blu ray player, I just purchased it from Target and have used it to watch blu's and dvds.

Now when playing blu-rays the machine runs flawlessly and is superb, but when watching dvds, this machine sounds like its going to fly off my dresser, its super annoying loud, and the movie or tv show playback on dvd skips alot and cuts out the sound, What gives?? Can this be fixed or should i return

Beware when buying this, if your going to be watching dvds on it too.

Default These players are junk.

No support

Stay away. Don't buy on price like I did. Now I have a player less than a year old that I have to throw away because the code will not support new DVD releases.

You've been warned.

Every couple of weeks these Memorex players are brought up. They're cheaply made and Memorex doesn't do alot of firmware updates if at all.

Here's a link to someone a few weeks ago with the same problem

Unfortunately these are going to be the players that most people will be buying during Black Friday. And for most these will be there first players and will probably put a sour taste in their mouth when it comes to Blu.

I have had NO problems with my Memorex Blue Ray DVD player. so far, and all Blue ray and regular DVDS play fine.
Just remember to kee the DVDS clean, no fingerprints, as this WILL cause skipping, etc.
