Remotes that use RF (Radio Frequency) instead of IR (Infrared). IR has to be "line of sight" to work. You use a RF remote that sends signals to a RF receiver, which has little "tenticles" that attach to the IR receiver on your equipment.
I use a Universal MX-980 if you want to check it out online. |

For me the gear is behind me when I am watching A movie . I just point the remote at the screen & the screen reflects the signal to the component behind me .

![]() If you have cat5 cable in the wall you can use an IR balun to extend the signal out. It will allow you to place the IR eye at the front but keep the equipment elsewhere and extend the signal. Hope that helps. ![]() |
