Default Amazon TVs question

Hi just had a quick question for those who have ordered a set through Amazon. I recently bought an LG 42LH50 with 4 year warranty over at Best Buy for 917. I usually go with the warranty for the "just in case" scenario.

But Ive been seeing some good deals for TVs recently on Amazon. Im a little wary on making such a major purchase on there due to the lack of warranty Im guessing it has.

My question is, if you have ordered a set on Amazon, how was your experience? And would you recommend using Amazon for a future TV purchase?

Thanks in advance.

I bought my Mits 73" from Amazon along with the stand for it. Great experience. Fast shipping and they do have extended warranties if you want one. The other thing is Amazon has some of the best prices over everyone else, no sales tax and if you're a Prime member, free shipping with them. Hope that helps.

Also had a great experience with Amazon, they came and set it up for me, turned it on to make sure it was working, etc. I also bought a warranty for my TV from Amazon.

I bought a Sony 52xbr9 from amazon in August and everything was great. Delivery was within a week with white glove setup. Plus amazon was $600.00 plus tax cheaper then Best Buy.

I bought my TV from Amazon. Good experience with them. You can get feedback from several sites that monitor special deals. I got $400 off from one of their promotions.

I got 2 samsung tvs from amazon in the past year.. Both work great.. On the first set i ordered the screen had a hole in it, AMazon was very quick to send out a new one and when they dropped the new one off they took the old one ( with the bad screen ) away

They also gave me $100 refund to my debit card for the inconvenience to me.. All this was done within a week.. and that was at christmas time !

I got the amazon in home warranty.. 4 yrs- $249 .. So yes amazon is very good

I spent $7K+ with Amazon in this year alone. Low margins make it possible to keep their prices competitive. On top of that, they are famous for their excellent customer service. I hate to be such a fanboy but Amazon is right at the top of my trust list.
