Default Black Friday dedication in your area?

So when I went to watch Ninja Assassin yesterday, there was a line already for Best Buy. Crazy stuff. I mean come on, you're not going to spend the holidays with your family and LINE UP FOR SALES?

There were about 10-15 tents that I noticed. Didn't get a chance to pass by any other stores. Might do that later today.

lol the funny thing is if those people picked up overtime hours at work or something they'd make all the money they'd save and maybe then some, and they wouldn't be sitting around.

But in my area usually tents are up at BestBuy, I'm sure where our other BestBuy is that has wal-marts and target its even more crazy.

I'm close to Clemson, SC right now (visiting my in-laws) and there were people camping at the local BB since Wednesday night according to the news. I was there this morning trying to get a Sony Vaio but they were already sold out. I got there as they were opening the doors at 5 AM. What I found out was at 0315 they actually went outside and handed out tickets for certain items, so if all you did was show up as they opened you were out of luck.

I saw on the news that some people started camping out at BB yesterday @ 2 pm. Apparently, my cousin went there at 9 pm last night.

LOL what about the Walmart down Crenshaw? That would be crazy. I know the news showed lines outside the West LA Best Buy.

I went to BB over at the River City shopping center (North Jax) on Wed, and there were 3 families that set up tents in front of the store. I was like, what a way to spend your Thanksgiving inside a tent.

On our way home last night I swung by 1 of our bestbuys and it had about 60+ people out at 8:45pm.

People really get into it here. I think lots of people drive over here from Vermont (it's just one exit away on the freeway) because there's no sales tax here making the deals that much sweeter.

That said,... it was way less than last year for whatever reason.
