Amazon shipping 300 complete experience - Blu-ray Forum

Just wondering any idea why it says this item will be shipped 3 to 5 weeks from now? I ordered it...great price...But i would like to have it before sometime in january 2010.....Any idea why it would be 3 to 5 weeks verses the 3 to 4 business days it normally takes me to get a Blu?

It's probably backordered due to the large volume of orders yesterday. However Amazon's estimated shipping dates are ALWAYS longer than it will actually take. I would guess your movie will ship in the next week or so.

Thanks...Yeah that makes more sense to me now...I really have not purchased alot from amazon..I usually just buy from the store when i go out...But it seems the smarter way is get the deals online to save money...the complete experience for 300 i never see in stores now...and it was 40 dollars so 12.99 seems good. The review says its worth every penny...so now i have the dvd...blu-ray & complete experience...Its my favorite movie tho..watched it today and yesterday on tnt hd

Now its just a waiting game on band of brothers to price drop

So 300 the complete experience like i said was 3 to 5 weeks to ship...i ordered it a couple days ago and it was 12.99....when i go to my account it shows everything shipped but 300 still says not yet shipped.

will it still be 12.99 like when i put it in my cart? ...its now 19.99 and with it taking so long to ship it will most likely go up....Do i still get it at 12.99 long as i have it ordered and waiting?

If it's still in your cart, no. If you ordered it and it backordered then yes.

Of course..... whatever price the movie was when you ordered it is the price you will pay, no matter how much it goes up afterwards

As for shipping, they always give some ridiculous, far off estimated date but they always ship within a week or so, if not sooner. I just got an email saying that my 300 is now slated to ship on or before December 15th. I'm thinkin I'll have it well before then

Just got the email that mine is now scheduled for delivery on 12/21. Better than the original estimate of January.
