What OOP criterion titles do you own? - Blu-ray Forum

All I have is Flesh for Frankenstein and Blood for Dracula. Wonderfully good movies to put on for an unsuspecting crowd.

Um, this is a blu-ray forum. Neither of those have ever been on blu. Just sayin'...

also in case people don't know the Image Entertainment releases for Flesh and Blood contain the commentary tracks that Criterion had on their editions and the IMAGE editions are 16:9 They just have ugly covers. The Criterion covers are nice.

Also purchasing an OOP Dead Ringers Criterion was the hardest title to find since it is heavily bootlegged. So many copies out there contain the logo rgarding the Aspect Ratio and it stated Ampect Radio

Also the thread starter wanted to know what OOP Criterion titles people own. being there is only one OOP BD I woudl assume they meant on DVD.

Nice list, how many of those besides 3rd man did you have before they went OOP or did you buy them all while they were OOP?

And as for the image entertainment, they have the commentary and are 16:9 but one of the main reasons I, and many others, prefer criterion is their superior image and sound quality.

off the top of my head, silence of the lambs, robocop, time bandits (not sure if these are oop but i have the rock and armageddon.) cant remember any others at the moment

I actually had a copy that went out of print, I forgot the distributor, but then I sold it for a profit. I've always wanted the Criterion for the special features.

Sometimes they do. Salo and Charade both came back into print albeit newer versions.

I had Hard Boiled on dvd a few years back. I bought it off some guy on eBay for $40. Watched it and almost threw-up at how HORRIBLE the transfer & audio were. Waited a few months, then popped it off on eBay for $90.
