More impressive fight scenes and it was comprehensible.
You could actually see what was going on this time.

Yeah, I found the story quite a bit more engaging as well.

The only reason I have this is because of the fight scenes...
It's pretty much crap but I can still enjoy it.

I too don't really watch either one of these for the 'story', though with that said the Audio in both these flicks is great! I love the intro with Blackout attacking the Marine base in the first one especially!

the original was by far the better movie, though the imax sequences in the sequel were impressive.

Right after seeing the 2nd I said it was easily better.

Then after a while I thought they were about even.

Now I've settled into an answer, Transformers > RotF.

The sequel definitely had some great parts (Sideswipes intro for example) but the original had less "ugh..." moments (the "humor" in the second film).

The second one is alright; the story is pretty bad but the action is great..........that said, the first is really fun & entertaining to watch with a better overall story to it so I would vote for #1.

The second one was a hot mess, really bad CGI compared to the first, and a lot of wasted screen time for secondary characters.
