Default Help with V10 advice!

Ok heres the deal. I plan on buying a 54 inch v10 and as you all know, they are becoming hard to come by. I spoke with a few associates from a few different places and they can't seem to give me a straight answer as to when they will be available. My question is would any of you even think about buying a floor model for $1700 or should i just hold out for a new one? thanks

Thumbs up Panny plasma

Vann's is showing the TC-P54V10, as well as the 50V10 as being in stock right now for $2399 with NO tax and FREE shipping. I have purchased several items from Vann's and have always been happy with their service. If this is within your budget, I would say to order immediately. Go to http://www.vanns.com and you should have it by next weekend. And as Snuffy Smith used to say " Time's a wasting " !!

Panasonic has the 54" available directly from them. If you or a family member has an employer who participates in the Panasonic Employee Purchase Program, you can probably get it for about $1800-1900.

I don't do floor models on items in the thousands of dollars. especially TV's.

Just me, but I would hold out for new in a factory sealed box.

I would give these guys a call and see if they have any arriving soon.

$1,999 shipped and no tax for most states. You can also get 2-5% cash back via Bing.com. I have ordered two Panny plasmas and was very pleased with the service.

Of course the $64k question is when they will be getting any.

Don't buy a floor model as it has been running on torch mode for who knows how long. Get a new one from any of the places others already listed and don't look back. When i bought my 65" V10 I went into best buy back in august and they didn't have any. 2 weeks later I got the call that it showed up. It was the only one they had gotten at the time.

I was gonna suggest HHGregg. They have the beautiful set for $2049 (54V10). Just for shits and giggles I asked the guy if he'd be willing to negotiate the price. He asked what I was thinking. I said oh...$1849. He went to his manager and said he could do it out the door right then

of course, I'm broke, unemployed, and on unemployment, so I told him I'd have to speak with my "wife" (I'm single) and get back with him. Felt so bad for getting the guys hopes up. I've made a promise to buy from him if/when I get my finances back in order.

I don't think panasonic had any idea the V10 series would sell so well. So they slacked on the supplies necessary to keep cranking em out.

you need to go to the sticky to cal. your tv and make a disc to help you break it in correctly. That will help you have a trouble free TV. Also AVS forum has some great help. Good Luck. Paul
