Default Confessions of a BLU-RAY Shopaholic

I have to confess, I'm a Blu-Ray shopaholic, I have become a junkie, a blu-ray fiend. I know it's too much, but there's not a week that passes by, that I think of getting a new BD movie. Is there a rehab I can join?

Most BDs I watch them once or twice then dont touch it for months. Those movies I never buy, the average ones. I only buy the best of the best. Works fine for me.

Actually as far as collecting blus go, this place is the best thing that's ever happened to me. I get advance information on release dates, rumors, sales, coupons and of course I get to commiserate with others who like collecting movies as much as I do. Still a funny post, though.

Agreed. I canceled BDs from my Netflix service when they raised the price, but just went back, as it will save me a lot more in the long run. The Hot Deals forum is great for those things you really want to own, but definitely hazardous!

OMG are you serious? Lol! Thats a LOT of BD's! Enjoy them though! This habbit is killing me! I just like purchasing and waiting for them to arrive in the mail.. I don't watch much more than 1-3 BD's in a week, and I probably buy at least one a week on average, so obviously I haven't re-watched a lot of my movies!

I like all of them exept from a few though, and even though I don't watch them all the time, I like to think that I can go to my shelf and pick a movie I like anytime I want

Being a student this is probably my #1 expense

Yeah you got a serious problem man. If you're a student, Im assuming you arent rich, and I cant imagine how much money you're spending on something that is nothing more than entertainment. Im making 6figs and I wouldnt even spend that much on just movies.

I havent actually bought a BD in 2 months and in 2 years being on board I own around 40. I use netflix a lot.

It's a good thing you don't watch as much as you buy, otherwise you wouldn't be a student for long. You can only get so many "F"s.

I still just get DVDs from Netflix, actually. If I watch a movie that I really like and know that I'll likely give several viewings, then I treat myself to the Blu. It's doubly satisfying that way.
