What's your favorite "theme" music?? - Blu-ray Forum

to branch off of the favorite "cool" sounds thread, that theme music gives you goosebumps everytime you hear it and gets you excited for a movie??

mine would have to be a toss up between Indiana Jones and Star Wars.

my wife rolls her eyes everytime i get to pick a movie we watch and she hears that music right away!!!

Star Wars , Superman and the Raiders Theme - before they all came along it was the theme from The Magnificent 7 - still sends shivers down my spine.

anything with Hans Zimmer he is by far the best composer ever & and right behind him would be Steve Jablonsky (Transformers Score)... when i see these guys attached to the movie it gets me excited to see that movie right away

.... he does soo many more great movies... but these are by far my favorites composing he has ever done for a movie... they all have "theme" songs that stick with me everytime i hear them

Star Wars will probably be the winner. I remember buying the Rocky soundtrack and using the theme on my Walkman to jog to. As I was a fat kid it usually got me three houses away before giving up and going back to my Atari. And that only lasted for a week before giving up completely.

The simplistic, yet creepy sounding theme for the Joker in The Dark Knight

And of course, Darth Vader's theme, the Imperial March.

Star Wars. Everytime I hear the 20th Century Fox fanfare, I always run into the room thinking it is about to blast with all the Star Wars goodness. Always disappointing to find another movie coming on. Usually have to throw a Star Wars DVD in at that point so it isn't all bad, saves me from watching commercials

Also Jurassic Park. From when they are flying in the helicopter all the way to when they arrive at the Guest Center.
