Hello, welcome!

All of us are blu-ray enthusiasts. I joined this site, when it was still small. It's nice to see how it's growing.

The info thread about blu in other places is a good idea, since I assume, the majority of us, are in the North American continents and It'd be nice to hear how the blu growth in other places also

Anyway, enjoy your stay, watch the battle unfolds (from a safe site). This is a fun time, since we're winning

I am a lover of European cinema as well and would like to welcome you to the forum! Would this thread you are talking about be keeping tracks of "non Hollywood releases" coming to BD worldwide? I live in Europe and can have an eye open for European titles that are in the pipeline over here!

By the way, one of the best European movie I have watched i a while is 'Das Leben der Anderen' (The Lives of Others) which is coming to BD on August 21st, what a fantastic flick this was!

There ain't much non Hollywood going on right now accept The Lives of Others (Sony), Black Book (Sony, which was also great by the way), Oldboy (Tartan) and The Seventh Seal (Tartan UK)!

Excellent! I will surely be checking this thread often. I too am excited at the prospect of seeing some favorites of foreign cinema on Blu, as well as being informed of new (to me and to date) foreign films. Very excited to view some upcoming titles like Oldboy, Seventh Seal (and other Bergman), Kurosawa films (eventually), Pan's Labyrinth (eventually), Fellini films (eventually), and many many others....

Hello again and thank you for the welcoming words. Yes, This Sunday I am going to input all of the Foreign titles available already or announced at the very first post (top). And indeed, I would like to have the thread covering ALL regions. So, look for more info in about 24 hours.

update:

added Infernal Affairs (HK)
Kung-Fu Hustle
Tekkon Kinkreet

Crey014: The English subs-info for the upcoming discs is always going to be questionable until a review is posted (as it was the case with the French disc of Paprika) and at this point Science of Sleep is rumored as non-English friendly.

Do you have a link for 0ss117?

Well, you've listed anime titles, so I am assuming you don't have anything against those, so I'll point out that you have also left off Ghost in the Shell:Innocence.

Absolutely nothing against them (maybe I just need to put them in a separate column), I just did not have the source so I could include the studio and country of origin.

The French Paprika definitely has English subs. The Brave Story was only submitted that way so I assume It does not.
