Just watched Fight Club last night and it was great, I only wish I hadn't already watched it like 50 times on DVD. TDK is also a great choice, I haven't seen the others, but I am getting Hangover and IB from the library soon and I have heard good things. An Excellent start to your collection!

I concur and welcome to the world of Blu-Ray.

Star Trek, The Hangover, and The Dark Knight are the only movies on your list that I have seen so far that I liked. All three are excellent movies imo and are worth buying on BD. I'm not a huge fan of Inglourious Basterds, but it does have pretty nice PQ and AQ, so it's a good buy if you like the movie enough. I haven't seen 500 Days of Summer yet, but it is a movie I am considering blind buying myself.

Star Trek is perfect in every way. I saw the film in theaters and was astonished, as I had never seen a ST film before. Blockbuster was showing it off on Blu and the PQ was phenomenal, but I have yet to actually watch the entire Blu first-hand. Can't say much on The Hangover (I heard it was hilarious) or 500 Days of Summer (trailer looks good ). I just watched Inglourious Basterds the other day and the PQ isn't reference, but its pretty impressive. The supplements are not the best, but the film is definitely enjoyable and re-watchable. And as for The Dark Knight, it is one of my favorite Blus and is packed with fantastic supplements and one of the best films of 2008 in glorious PQ and outstanding AQ.

welcome, all sound really good! Just get what ever movies you like! Also do your research because there are some movies that have different versions. Make sure you buy the ones with lossless audio
