A Great Affordable Player?

I already have my PS3 as a blu-ray player by my mom wants to get my dad a blu-ray player for the living room and I was wondering what's the most affordable (under $200) and best one out there? Since I use my PS3 I never really look at the blu-ray players so your guys help would really be appreciated!

What do you guys think of the insignia they have for 119? It says it's got built in wireless which means I don't need it plugged into the wall to update right? Anyone have any thoughts on that player?

Wow! I paid $179 each last Black Friday for my SONY BDP-S350's. I've never done a firmware upgrade or had a disc not play, very reliable heavily used players. Is the BDP-S360 just as reliable as the BDP-S350? I might get a BDP-S360 eventually, so that my Blu-ray player color matches everything else in my rack( black ).
Why didn't SONY just use black from the start!

The blue SONY BDP-S350 blends in quite well, for now.

Yea I got a 350 for 216 last year after Black Friday and seeing the price on the 360, plus the fact that it decodes DTA-MA, what more could you ask for. I'm seeing the 560 for under 200, plus it's wireless.

IN your gallery pics, what color is the center light above the Blu-ray emblem on your BDP-S350? Looks blue. Mine are white.

It's white on mine when a Blu Ray disc is in use.

If its for your parents and they aren't "videophiles" and don't need any sort of streaming video those Funai built Magnavox players Wal-mart is selling for $78 are fine. Decent picture quality, reliable playback, dirt cheap. IQ difference on BR disc playback between any of the sub-$200 is minimal anyway.

I do not know if the prices have changed (I'll check later today), but Costco was selling the Sony BX2 for $129.99 and the Panasonic for about $149.99. I noticed on Friday Amazon selling the Panny for $128.xx.
