FINALLY!!!

Although I hope they release these films seperately as well as a trilogy pack. While I enjoyed Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico a great deal, I can't say the same for El Mariachi. While the film (Mariachi) has some memorable moments the whole thing just looked like a college project filmed on a Sony Hi8 analog camcorder. Regardless this is good news for fans of all three films!

That's weird, because it was shot on 16mm film.

That's because it was made for $7000 by Rodriguez himself

and if a mod could fix the title to put an R in trilogy, that would be appreciated

Technically, the version we saw cost WAY more than $7,000. Sure, he shot it for that, which pretty much covered the discounted film stock and developing. But when the studio bought it, they re-transferred the film and cleaned it up, re-did the sound, music, etc. The $7,000 is a fallacy.

I agree for the most part, all though I think they're all pretty good in their own right. Once Upon a Time is my favorite by a large margin, though. I'll be watching that first.

IMHO Desperado was much better than Once Upon a time in Mexico. I can't stand Johnny Depp, but regardless, it was not the same fun ride.
