I've noticed this for a long time, but reading the review for 8 ½ prompted me to report this. I read this site using Firefox on OS X, and see this both at work (where I regularly work with Unicode) and at home.
I'm wondering if the posts are constructed in Word for Windows, using Microsoft Word's characters for apostrophes, quotes, and symbols, and then copy-pasted into the blu-ray.com website? They all show up as question blocks. It makes reading the website very difficult. I've included a screencap so y'all can see what I see. This is for reviews as well as the main homepage, although there are fewer instances of punctuation there. ![]() Thanks. |
