Nah theres no way it will be the classic 80s 3D, it will be the new VC-1 layer thing (dont ask me exactly how it works LOL )

I hope they bring this out in LPCM 7.1. I haven’t watched it in 3D yet but the 2D was still excellent.

Let me educate you a bit on sound mixing. This is a problem with a lot of people at this site. You can't bring out a 7.1 mix on Blu-ray if the movie was mixed in 5.1! Don't just assume because Blu-ray can do 7.1 that every movie will have a 7.1 mix. A huge amount of movies are still being mixed in 5.1 so if a movie is mixed in 5.1 like Avatar don't just hope and expect a 7.1 mix because it's not going to happen.

After watching it in 3D on IMAX it's a must buy for me whenever it gets released on blu-ray. I'm sure it will be a top seller as well.

I too saw this movie and I must admit I ended up forgetting was was real and what was CGI. This is most definately up there as one of the best movies ever.

But lets not forget, it will be a very long time before this movie is seen by anyone at home in 3D. James Cameron has already implied this will be released as in 2D blu first with 3D coming out much later. I mean it makes sense. I don't know many people who would have a 3D bluray player, 3D TV.

I'll be purchasing the 2D version day 1.

This is fox your on about so It might not be 7.1 and it will be DTS-HD MA and not LPCM.

I read on AVForums that the mix they heard was 6.1. If that was the mix made for the film on blu-ray it might be the same but being a new film its possible they might give it the 7.1 treatment. They gave Ice Age 3 a 7.1 track so it could be possible.
