That's just a random date, they put that because they know it's coming out in 2010 but don't know the exact date, so they put the one that's the latest in 2010 to make sure they have it in there somewhere.

Yeah, I thought I saw it advertised on the French Amazon site for sometime in April. I find that a more reasonable date (and not just because I want it! ).

Most likely around summertime which would be 6 or 7 months after its December 2009 release.

Maybe that's the 3D version they're talking about?

I did hear some talk that they are trying to figure out how to get digital 3D onto Bluray not sure which version RealD or Dolby3D because if its red and blue cardboard glasses he can keep it!

Personally I’d be more content with 2D but the Bluray has to also be backward compatible or it might not be possible they might need a lot of GB to produce it in digital 3D?

Unless you want splitting headache after warring those cardboard lame glasses!

It also has to work universally with video projections in the home without the need of silly costly overpriced equipment.

The glasses maybe something like the polarized lenses used in RealD or the slightly oddish coloured Dolby 3D that looked remarkable at the Empire Leicester Square with Toy Story front at centre of the cinema.

But I’m not a huge fan of W/S and I don’t know why he didn’t go with scope with anamorphic lenses, he can keep Super35! So how its going to win me over when it comes out? Better have an immersive six-track Dolby stereo True mix.

I read somewhere there will be 2 releases. First is 2D only. Second release comes later in the year with full 3D spec.
