Default Twisters (2024)

BILL PAXTON likes the idea & pitched it to producer Kathleen Kennedy. Read about it HERE. I think with todays' technology, & this storyline, it could very well be a good idea for a movie. Thoughts?

I doubt Bill Paxton is in good enough shape now to out run a twister

Twister 2 would be awesome now with the cgi they have and 3D think Bill is getting on a bit now.Its got to be better than the very lame war of the worlds or Indy 4...

I would be interested in a sequel. I actually like Twister, it is one of the very few disaster movies I like. So long as they don't do it simply to jump on the 3D bandwagon. If they come up with a good movie and then say 'Let's do this in 3D', that could be good.

READ THE LINK IN MY 1st POST ABOUT PAXTON's IDEA FOR THE STORY, IT'S ACTUALLY A DECENT IDEA FOR A NEW STORY ABOUT WHAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE BIGGEST TORNADO ON RECORD IN 1925.

(You know, Before just throwing out comments or silly attempts at humor).

(Sorry about the Caps above -- I wasn't Yelling, just in a program here at work)

I live in Tornado Alley and, at the age of 37, I still have yet to see a tornado. (I've been within a few miles of one many times, but never actually seen one.) So the idea of a 90 minute tornado seems awfully silly. You could drag it out with some severe storms, but since tornados come and go very quickly it would be difficult. That said, it couldn't be worse than 2012, so why not?

Default Good idea

I think it would be a good idea. The movie was big when it came out ( cant believe it was over ten years ago). But like you said with todays technology, it could get interesting.

Totally agree -- I'd see it.
