Default Adding album artwork to iTunes question.

Okay, so I know how to add artwork the standard way. My question is when iTunes can't find the artwork for the album. Is there another database you can check to get the artwork? For instance, I can't get any AC/DC artwork onto my iPhone. Can I check another database instead of the standard iTunes library to see if there is artwork for these albums?

I use this site to get all of my album artwork: http://www.albumartexchange.com/covers.php
The image quality is much better than you get from iTunes, Zune, or any of the other media players that tag your music. If you do this in iTunes, I always highlight all of the songs in the album>right-click on them>select Get Info>and paste the image that I copied from that website. This way it embeds each individual song with the image. If you've ever wondered why some songs in a particular album shows the album art and some don't, this is the reason. I hope this helps. I'm real picky when it comes to tagging my music collection.

+1

I always try to choose the 500x500 images since they will provide the highest resolution when viewed on your computer screen.

I use mp3tag:

http://www.mp3tag.de/en/

It's a great program to use for batch tagging audio files. It searches various websites (including Amazon) for all of the tag information, including album artwork. You can edit individual fields or all of them at the same time for an entire album.

This is what I do for exactly the same reason. Then I just click and drag the album artwork into iTunes.

When I have problems with Album art using iTunes, I pop over the Amazon, look up the title, and save the Album art. From there it is a quick import.
