Question Films You cant watch to the End?

I just tried and failed for the fourth time to watch 'The Thin Red Line'. It's apparently a fantastic film with a deep message which I fully understand, I can't fault it regarding sound, vision and performances, but it just seems too drawn out.

Has anyone got a film they just can't get through to the end. If not can someone enlighten me as to why I should try for a fifth time!

Try breaking it down. Watch 30 mins here, 30 mins there. Or an hour today, an hour tomorrow. Makes it MUCH easier to get through some of these "deep" films...

REALLY?!?! There Will Be Blood?!?! Dude, you are seriously missing out. I have watched this movie 4 times on video and saw it twice in the theater. Its one of the dozen or so films from my lifetime that I consider a "masterpiece." Everything about this movie is excellent. The directing, the editing, the score, the imagery, the acting. EVERYTHING! Man, I feel sorry for you. You need to make yourself watch this movie and try to appreciate everything it has to offer! Good luck!

I find it hard not to look at a movie once I sit down to look at it..or even walk out of the theater...no matter how bad it is.

On topic, I usually watch a movie to the end, only very few I can't finish.
