Default Are you an angry video game nerd?

So I'm curious if you ever broke anything or did anything stupid because a frustrating/impossible/annoying game?

Yesterday I was playing WipEout online and even though I'm usually good at the game I lost all the time! Constantly bombarded with those stupid waves and the only weapons I got was michine gun and bombs!

Finally hit my table and now there's a big hole in it

It was Ikea though so screw it

This was a year ago, i was playing Star Wars the force unleashed in the hardest difficulty, and i had to fight the blue boss guy. trust me if you played the game you know who the hell he is lol. i had him almost dead he only needed like 2 more hits and he killed me. when he killed me I picked up my computer chair and i slam it so hard against the floor that the chair parts went flying everywhere. Mind you this was like my 60 try with the guy so yea. It felt really good though!!!!!

I think EVERYONE does that...

I've NEVER broken anything or thrown things out of anger over a video game... but I do curse... A LOT.

I've smashed a SIXAXIS controller out of frustration with a game... can't remember which exactly. I believe it might have been either Uncharted 2 or Magic Ball. I posted about it somewhere on this site, whatever it is. But, I didn't just stop at smashing it on the ground. I then proceeded to stomp on the larger pieces that were on the floor. I figured that as long as it wasn't going to work anymore, I'd use its to the fullest potential.

Otherwise, I always keep a pillow or extra cushion around when I know I'm facing a difficult challenge. Punching is still always the most guaranteed satisfaction in these types of instances.

I've broken my fair share of games and controllers, mostly during my Sega Genesis days. I once took a game, put one of my bed posts on top of it and repeatedly jumped on my bed, smashing the cartridge. Also buried one in my back yard after I smashed it in the driveway.

I wasn't brought up to be a spoiled brat so as much as I've wanted to "break" something out of frustration I used something called restraint. You learn restraint when your young and told "no" or "you can't have that"

I can't tell you how many controllers I broke back in the day. My friends and I used to have Tekken 2 marathons back in high school, and every night they had a little over/under on when I would brake a controller.

I swear every weekend we would have to make a trip to walmart at 2am so that I could by another ps1 controller. Thank god I chilled out since then.

I've never actually broke anything but there have been the odd occasion when I've found myself in an almost uncontrollable rage which involves punching/kicking soft furnishings and burying my face in a cushion and yelling. Afterwards I'm shaking and feel all tingly from the adrenaline. I probably need help

I've had my fair share of breaking stuff when I was mad at a game; Mostly when I was playing the Madden NFL games on the PS2 and PS3. I always hated it when the qb couldn't throw the damn ball because the defense got to him first

There were other times when the qb would throw so many damn interceptions and I would crush the controller with my hands
