hello, i have a question about the way my surround sounds when watching a bluray, or really any movie...i asked somewhere else on the forum about a month ago, and was told to calibrate the system with an spl meter. i went out immediatly, bought one, and set it up accordingly to big daddys thread about calibrating speakers using an spl meter. anyway, i though at the time it was much better, but i dont feel like i even have surround speakers when im watching a movie. theres no effect like bullets whizzing by, helicopters passing...i dont know if its my speakers or the setting on my reciever. the front sound stage sounds amazing however. if anyone can give me some advise that would be great? maybe i have to get new surrounds, or set my reciever on a different setting???
