how long does it take to get shipment from amazon UK? - Blu-ray Forum

i placed my order last week on wensday for the bourne collection from amazon uk, has anyone ever ordered from them? i know they ship through Royal Mail service but then when it gets here to the US, then who ships it?

For me in Montreal it never took more then 10 days, most of the time 6-7 days

ok i see, i live in florida, but let me ask you this, i know when it dispatches from the UK its from Royal Mail but, when it comes here to US then who is the carrier????

Well I get from delivered by Poste Canada, so I would say it's probably US Mail for you

USPS..would deliver it to you...

It may take awhile to get Bourne from the UK since alot of people is importing it, stock quantities might be an issue...
I know it took a few weeks well before I got my copy.

Does anyone have the HD-DVD versions of the Bourne Films and if so, have they compared them to the UK imports?

I am considering "red2bluing" my versions to the UK boxed set.

When I have ordered from Amazon UK in the past, they would ship new release items on the Sunday before the official release date and I would typically have them by Thrusday or Friday the same week. It always seemed pretty fast to me and I just used the standard shipping.

It took two weeks for me to get Red Cliff!

Many others said they got it in 7 - 10 days though when I inquired. Maybe mine was just hung up but if I specifically don't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any at all!

One week to 10 days normally....but an order I placed in Dec must have eneded up on the slow boat to china because I got the items like 4 weeks later.......

Yes Royal Mail in us is done thru the regular post office. Boy I hope I don't have a problem with an item I bought from Amazon.de recently. Wonder how long that will take once it's shipped?

Items occasionally get held up in U.S. customs, which can add several days to the estimated time that Amazon UK has no control over. Most of the time orders will show up 7-10 days after they say it ships.

Just sit back and relax. Once you get over the trepidation of ordering from Europe, the shipping goes as smooth as domestic shipping if you order from reputable sellers.

It usually takes around a week for me but I've gotten it in just 2-3 days when using the faster shipping options.
