Will Amazon delay a shipment?

I pre-order things on a weekly basis from Amazon and have shipments coming in for the next few weeks. I am going to be out of town on vacation for ~2-3 weeks and don't want all those packages just sitting at my doorstep. Does anyone know if Amazon will delay shipments? Thanks for any insight..

dont know off the top of my head but i would definitely call them and ask. if you know all of your stuff is coming usps or ups you can always call the respective service and work something out to have them hold it.

Thanks for the reply. I have Prime so I'm pretty sure everything is shipped UPS. I guess I'll call and see if they'll hold my packages for me. Hopefully they will.
