No. Please don't. If I see one more picture or read any more literature about how to recognize flaws in a home theater setup it will take my OCD to an entirely unacceptable level and I fear my wife will stab me in the eye with a pitchfork....

durring dark scenes mostly in the corners youll see like some light being shown thats very obvious isnt suppose to be there..
ive seen some pics of several 6/7000 with horrendous light bleeding thru with my 6000 the only time i see it is when im switching between my components from cable to my ps3 because the screen goes blank momentarily but its hardly anything with mine and i still love the picture it produces, my fathers 8000 has it a little more worse than i do tho |

I have some flashlighting effect on my tv but I hardly notice it except in very dark scenes of a movie and its not enough for me to really pay attention to it. Alot of LCD's have this issue some are bad and some not bad.

so i bought it for $1059.00 from buydig.com they had a special coupon code that got it down to that price (at the time of this posting the site is sold out).
after about an hour of searching, reading, watching reviews i pulled the trigger. Anyone have comments on this tv good or bad? (besides the flashlight effect) |

I have the 40" 6000. Best TV I have ever owned. Very energy efficient. I recommend calibrating for best picture. I used settings found on CNET. I use MOVIE for movies and STANDARD for TV. Great price by the way. Enjoy. For calibration: http://forums.cnet.com/5208-19410_10...hreadID=341085 Last edited by raygendreau; 05-31-2010 at 01:43 PM. Reason: added link to CNET settings |
