Monoprice.com inwall/ceiling speakers - Blu-ray Forum

Can anyone who has bought speakers from Monoprice comment on which ones i should order? Its just a basic setup, not looking for high end.
Also, the way they ship do Canadaian buyers get dinged for custom duties? Some times I get dinged and sometimes not, usually when UPS is involved i get dinged

Monoprice has lots tons of reviews on the speakers, i order from them all the time usually in $200 - $400 orders and almost always have to pay the duties, but with monoprice i have never had to pay the brokerage fees like most places make you pay when shipping with UPS. Just make sure you select expedited shipping 3-5 days to avoid any brokerage fees witch are typically more than any duties that you would have to pay.

I have the 6.5's for my rears. It took me some tweaking in the wall to get the bass response acceptable. Added some extra insulation and spray foam inside to tighten up the "enclosure" area and now everything sounds great. Before this bass was almost non-existent.

These speakers were probably the best deal I've ever gotten in HT gear. If it were me I'd get the 8's for front duty if you can swing it.
