Default What, no love for Rugby!?

Now that the Six Nations has kicked off, anyone care to express an opinion. Who's going to win? Who's going to slope off with the wooden spoon? Anyone care to share their memories of the annual England-Wales grudge match accompanied by a few beers..

Edit: I guess not!

Do you have Sentata Sports? I get to watch my rugby games on there now, I was stuck for streaming online before as rugby is not exactly popular around here

Been watching the 6 Nations.

It's hard enough to get interest drummed up with football. Rugby is a tough task. Most of my footballing friends find rugby boring.

Wales and England are opponents? I thought they were part of the same country.

Why do you assume that because I am in America I cant like the concept of Rugby? The NFL and Rugby are 2 totally different sports. You laugh about the NFL yet every time the NFL comes to the UK for games in Wembly Stadium its completely sold out. The NFL will be expanding across the Atlantic, the only question is when and which team goes.

6 Nations is gearing up in the next few weeks. Anyone got a guess as to who the victor will be this year?

I may be biased but going with the Welsh!

Rugby man here, my favourite sport by far.

Anyway, Italy weren't the walkovers I expected to be in the first game, but I still think Wales are my favourites to win. As an Englishman in Scotland, my hopes lie with England, and I think whoever wins between England and France next, will be the only ones to challenge Wales. I don't think there will be a grand slam this year though.

Predictions:
Wales
England
France
Ireland
Italy
Scotland (wooden spoon)

My actual hopes (AKA if by a miracle):
England
Scotland
Wales
Ireland
Italy
France

At halftime it's France 16, England 8.

Truly horrific standards of play by England apart from the final five minutes of the half. Can't catch, can't win a scrum, giving away far too many penalties... I think if England can play to their usual standard, they can still take this, but if they play like the first half for the whole six nations, we might as well pack up and go home.

Saying that, didn't Wales lose their first game last year, and come back to win it?

It would be nice to be 6 Nations champions this year and next year for when we host the world cup though. I can still remember where I was when England won the World Cup against Australia. I travelled all the way to London (from Cumbria) for a meeting, and watched the final in the hotel bar instead of going to the meeting.
