Spies Like Us is watching post-TZ late-80's/early-90's John Landis's lil' idiosyncratic director-cameo choo-choo go further round the bend...

But ISTR "Funny Farm" as one of the last funny Chevy movies of the 80's, outside of the Fletch movies--
The jokes really come out of nowhere, just like the first Vacation.

Yes, he COULD be funny back then, hard as it is today to believe.

Awesome news... still not a fan of Best Buy exclusives as it usually means that you get the honor of paying full retail price. It will be great to see these flicks in widescreen... now I'm mad that I wasted my time watching the crummy full-frame "Funny Farm" DVD over Christmas.

awesome! i just recently picked up funny farm on DVD used for a couple bucks. got home and was disappointed to see that it is full-screen. i didn't even think to check before buying it. looked online and there has never been a widescreen dvd release of it so this is great news.

Hopefully Warner will release other films on Blu ray that were Fullscreen only on DVD. I'd buy Fearless, Arthur and Private Benjamin.

Same thing is being done with Lords Of Dogtown blu-ray with Best Buy having exclusive rights in the Us and AmazonCanada having it. It is released from both in April.
